Product Description

We get a ton of requests this time of year for sushi classes. Understandably so! Sushi is both healthy and delicious. However, making it from scratch might not be the easiest endeavor without a guiding hand. We’ve got you covered! Years after heading the sushi bar at one of world-renowned Chef Roy Yamaguchi’s Hawaiian Fusion Restaurants, Chef Michael travelled extensively through Japan and even staged with a sushi and sashimi master. He’s now ready to share some of his secrets with you. You’ll start with the most important detail - making the perfect sushi rice. From there you will ease into rolling a traditional maki roll and then get really fancy with a tempura battered roll served with a fusion beurre blanc that will knock your socks into next week. So, tie your shoelaces tight and get ready for sushi night. This amazing class is clean outta sight!

Menu: Generous Tasting Portions
Spicy Tuna Roll
California Roll
Crispy Tempura Roll with Miso Beurre Blanc

Restrictions: Ages 18 and older.

Pricing per person.

Requirements: Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back and away from students’ faces. Please notify the Cooking School at Boelter SuperStore in advance if you have any food allergies or aversions. Recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. Menu changes cannot be made the day of class.
