Summer is here and the time is right for … cooking in cast iron! Learn all about the many benefits to cooking with cast iron skillets, grill pans, and Dutch ovens. We’ll cook in Lodge cast iron pans in this hands-on class that focusses on cast iron cooking as well as maintenance, and repair. Learn how to eliminate rust, season your cast iron cookware, store without worry, and cook with the fury that only cast iron can withstand.

Pan Roasted Bone-In Pork Loin Chop with Green Apple and Shaved Fennel
Heirloom Tomato Gallete with herbed Chevre
Fresh Garden Green Beans with Lemon Aïoli
Cinnamon Dutch Baby with Drunken Pear and Homemade Whipped Cream

Restrictions: Ages 18 and older.

Requirements: Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back and away from students’ faces. Please notify the Cooking School at Boelter SuperStore in advance if you have any food allergies or aversions. Recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. Menu changes cannot be made the day of class.
